Installation Question - Rendering Options

I normally render to AVI using the standard template in Vegas and then let DVDA render as part of the DVD maiking process. I know this may not be the optimum way of doing things but I have had luck doing it this way and hate to experiment.

A question on Vegas 5.0. I was rendering my first project with the new installation yesterday and did not have the option to chose other than the standard avi rendering choices (no MPEG main concept or other).

Was there an option in the installation process I missed? When I installed 4.0 I do not remember anything having been different and everything was installed.

The MPEG options should automatically be there. You might want to try a reinstall. If that doesn't work, you may need to check with tech support.

Thats kind of what I was thinking may have happened.

I had started the render before it occured to me and did not want to interrupt.
