Installing Vegas on a Different Computer

I'm a new Vegas 5 user and am just learning to use the software at this time. I have an older computer and it works fine for now, but I can tell that I'll need to upgrade before I start taking on larger projects. If I reinstall Vegas on a new machine, I'll have to register the software again to use the MPEG encoder, etc. How will I be able to do this without Sony thinking I'm violating the licence agreement? Is there a way to de-register the software on the old system? Thanks for the help.

It's not like Windows XP or Adobe Photoshop CS. :) You can register it on about 10 computers, THEN you need to call & have them clear their computers.

I've registered V4 on my comp about 6 times (re-formats) with no problems. You can even install it on several computers (as per the liscence agrement) as long as you own the computers.

What i'm saying it don't worry. :)
