Installing VMS Platinum 10.0 with existing VMSP ve

I have a licensed copy of VMS Platinum 8.0 on my Win XP system. I wanted to know if it is possible to install the trial version of VMS Platinum 10.0 on the same computer without affecting the 8.0 install? Obviously I want to test the functionality of version 10,.0 before committing to purchase it. TIA.

I had a trial of Platinum 10 installed along with Movie Studio 9 (registered) without any problems, if that helps. (Just remember that if you open any projects in Platinum 10 that were created in earlier versions to save them under a new name.)

Thanks... it is working fine. Thanks also for the tip on saving anything edited in version 10.0 under a separate project name.
