Interactive Broadcast for noobs

I mentioned this in the Studio forum, but what the heck, maybe some VP users might like one too.

I am thinking about doing live training sessions on the web with interactive text chat for questions and comments, geared for Vegas noobs. These would not be like fancy classes, but more of a community gathering for learning. There would be no cost, no brand association or anything commercial about it other than the ads the streaming service pops up.

It would be informal and the sessions would be archived for latter viewing. I guess I will at least put on a shirt.

Anyone interested in a test session or have suggestions?

KK

Keith! Most excellent idea/project!

Some ideas:

* Maybe some form of white-board

* A test veg for people to add stuff to?

* It should have the ability for me to load-n-show PNGs or Jpgs for screen shots?

* A testing directory for a pool of useful veggies?

Great stuff Keith!

Grazie

Nice suggestions Grazie. Unfortunately most of this may be to entry level for you. I would love a white board option, but it is out of my price range for a free community broadcast, You will be able to see my screen, but others will not be able to mark on it; only text chat at first.

I am will add a link to a place to download .veg files to go with the session. That is very good and doable.

I will viewers could show their screen during the session or send stills live. hmmm. I am not sure how just yet. Maybe you could upload to an FTP site and I could retrieve it during the session. We might want to try and see if that will work.

I will certianly add a pool of downloadable .veg files and sample projects for this. It won't be the size of many that are out there, but it should complement out group discussions.

Thanks for the ideas.
