The upcoming Wax 2.0c version has the ability to load Photoshop filters and use them in Vegas. I need some users to test this feature before the release can be done. If you are interested drop me a line.
I would like to use Vegas Secondary Color Corrector in Photoshop. Got one for that, Satish? ;D Just kidding. Well not really, I would love to be able to do that, but I know it's probably far too challenging of a development task. ;) ;) ;)
Seriously I can't thank you enough for your software. It's been a life saver. And this next one will be earth shaking - I can't wait.
I would love to use to try it out I have Grain Surgery for Photoshop and see if it would work with this. They make one for Premire but of course I don't want to use P. This is great, I was on the beta of Wax 2 so hook a brother up my email is davidwalding@totalsolutions.bz
> I'm a lttle confused. Will this allow us to import a Photoshop .psd file, then edit it right from Vegas?
No, this will allow you to use a Photoshop plugin (i.e., *.8BF file) as a Vegas Video FX. MainConcept MainVision has this features and its quite handy. It would be great to have this in Vegas via Wax. Then you could apply filters like Eye Candy, Flaming Pear, VirtualPainter, etc. right in Vegas. To do this today, you have to export as a still image sequence and process them in batch mode with Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro and then re-import the sequence into Vegas. This will save some time. Thanks Satish.
