interface for pc

This really has nothing to do directly with vegas, but I'm
looking for the right interface to use on a pc. I'm going
to mix mostly on an analog mixer (48 tracks at the most).
So, I need an interface that's fight for the situation.
Obvoiusly, I'll need a few interfaces to do the job.

Jason, Have you been following this forum long? If not, there are
many of us pc users who are using the MOTU 2408, etc interfaces.
After carefully configuring your pc, it works great. There are some
who will say it doesn't, that is fine. I have had my 2408 working
since last November and have completed several CD's from it! I have
many of Sonic Foundry's programs and wholeheartedly recommend them to
you. Like I said earlier, you must configure your pc for digital
audio to record successfully; there are many sites to explain how to
do it. You can spend lots of money going in so many directions, but,
I have found SF's products professional and easy to use! I operate a
32 track Tascam DA-x8 studio which is busy making money! Listen to
others and make your mind up for yourself, after you have success
with it, then you will become a help to others, also!MM.
