Internal Error on ISO Writer

I burned a project several times to an ISO file. Everything worked. Then, I started getting an error and now I get it every time that I try to burn this project to an ISO file. It says this:

An internal error has occurred.

Under the details, it says:

'CDR Simulator'-(25)
'CDR Simulator'-(-1)
'CDR Simulator'-(-1)
Module Line 0
The operation is not supported by this drive.

Status: 00000000
Command:
Sense: 00 00 00
Info: 00 00 00 00
Specific: 00 00 00
Extra:

I upgraded to version 4.0a (and restarted) to see if that would help but it didn't. I'm running Windows XP Pro with SP2 and all of the latest updates.

It doesn't make sense to me why this was working for this project but now it's not. Does anybody have any idea what might be the problem or how to solve it?

Thx.

I know this is an old topic, but I'm getting this exact same problem using DVD Architect 4.0b (Build 166). I was getting it with DVDA 4.0a as well, so I updated to see if it would fix it, but no luck.

DVDA will prepare the video just fine, but any attempt to either burn the DVD or write an ISO is met with the same message that fflowers received (less the line that says "The operation is not supported...").

Has anyone else had this problem and resolved it? It's quite annoying and frankly renders the software useless.

I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium 32-Bit with a Matshita DVD-RAM UJ-851S 1.50 drive. (Although I doubt the drive itself has much to do with it because it won't write ISO's either.)

I solved it.

I used Microsoft Process Monitor to find out what it was stumbling on when it tried to burn. It turns out there was a file (C:\Users\Dylan\Local\Temp\VTS_01_1.VOB) that it couldn't delete on its own. I deleted it and emptied the trash.

Now everything works fine.
