I need to know how to turn of my camra and use my firewire out I don't know how to get into the internal menu, please help

Can you explain some more... YOu just put your camera in VTR mode hook up the firewire cable to your capture card and VF will control your camera. There is nothing to turn on!!!

Sony has the manuals on line I believe. You could try this. I have a Sony and I open the lcd screen and on the body of the camera there is abutton that says menu I push it and then on the back of the camera is a wheel that in camera mode adjusts lens opening. In menu mode scrolling the wheel takes you through the options on the menu.
