Internal Vegas DV Capture??

Anyone know if I can use the internal capture in Vegas to capture DV or is it only good for HDV. I like the look and feel of the Capture from within Vegas.

As far as I know HDV and SDI only.
Yes would be much better if we could capture DV that way, the mechanism used is much easier to deal with.

Which means we'll never see it in the regular VidCap as we've ONLY been asking for improvements since V4 :-(

I have to say, that i like being able to just open vidcap and not have to open vegas.

Well I only capture to edit in Vegas, so it seems easier to me. Also it has in the preferences to disable the Vidcap capture and use the onboard so it sounded like it implies that you can.

The big advantage of the Internal capture is that it can read a XML text file. So one can with a few programming skills translate an EDL into a capture file.
But as far as I know strictly SDI and HDV, don't know how well it'd fly specifying In / Out points with HDV but it'd worked fine with V6, SDI and my own capture file.
