Quite the opposite. I am very familiar with this function (as well as other functions of this application) as I produce countless DVD for customers.

You, on the other hand, have failed to answer my question.

If you know anything about anything that Sony has to offer - you can make your own introduction media.

And...since I guess I do know what I'm talking about - I guess it is okay that I take the mick, huh?

Testing....testing.....is this thing on??? I know you all are out there, I can hear you breathing!!

OK .. so can one of you share what this 'Introduction Media' is for those of us that are DVD challenged?

Just like with the other poster - what type of introduction media do you want?

It can be anything. There is nothing special about it. It's just video and audio (if you want audio). It's the first thing that willplay when a DVD is put in.

You can make your own - or use your own video or not use one.

What is it that you people are looking for?

As stated you can use anything you like as a first play. Company logos you have made yourself or Dolby trailers & the like if you want, your choice.

Those Sonic Foundry motion backgrounds or digital Juice jumpbacks work nicely for intros. Also if you are artistically challneged and lazy like me the templates in Premiere 6.5's titling app are useful.
