iPhone video issues

The audio track of any video shot with my iPhone will not import to my Vegas 9.0 for PC. I've tried renaming the file to VOB, MP3 and MP4 with no success. How do I convert an iPhone video to be able to edit on a PC?

There are several different versions of "iPhone video."
Care to upload a 30 sec. clip somewhere?

To find what format the video from your iPhone is, use GSpot: download.cnet.com/GSpot/3000-2248_4-10381198.html.
