iPod Format

I have a iPod Touch and I rendered a movie and imported it. When I go to sync my iPod, it states the movie was not added because it is not a supported format. I saved the file as mp4 per the manual. I have just updated my iPod with the latest software and firmaware. Any ideas, thoughts or suggestions?

So you used the MainConcept AVC/AAC mp4 type, right? What template? Did you change it from Default to one of the two iPod settings?

yes I selected that format. Template.....? I do not remeber a template.

I just purchased the software so I am still learning. Can you give me more details?

In the Make Movie screen you should see an Advanced button, click on it and that should show the Template field just below the Type field. Change it from Default and it should create an mp4 file that iTunes will recognise.
