Here's something some of you may find interesting.
I was rendering out a video capture using BlueBerry Flashback Screen capture program the other day and noticed that the RAM usage went up to over 12GIG! I have 16GIG and was wondering if that was overkill but after seeing the usage now I'm thinking that 16GIG was a good move. At first I thought it was a memory leak so just let the program go until the rendering was completed or my machine crashed. When it finished the RAM utilization dropped back down to normal. *WHEW* (;

99% of my work work can be done w/ 8-12Gigs but just something to keep in mind if you're doing heavy duty rendering and memory caching.
