Is a Plextor PX-716A writer any Good???

Dear Forum,

I am considering buying a Plextor PX-716A writer, and I therefore should be grateful if anyone could comment on it’s performance toward burning relatively error free DVD-R, together which media best suits this drive?

Thanks

Not sure about the 716 but after numerous failed burns on a Sony, I bought a Plex 708 and have never had a failed burn that I could blame on the burner. Am a fan of the Plex
