Has anyone tried the new patch yet and seen whether the AVCHD preview problem has been repaired? I'm very excited and hoping that I will be now able to smoothly edit my AVCHD footage.
Hi,
I have 2,4 GHz and only 2 Gb ram (WInXP) and can not render AVCHD. If I take one more Gb (3), it should be enough? Or I have to buy a better processor too?
Best regards
Don't confuse things. Do you mean "render" or "preview"? Also, having 2.4 Ghz of a CPU does not tell us what architecture that was: Pentium 4, or Dual Core, or Quad Core?
Hi,
I have a dual core duo E6600, I can't render avchd files in AVChd, the program stops in few seconds, and the prewiew is bad. (and I dont' speak English, sorry in advance for my mistakes). But I can render AVchd files in in dvd formats. It works very well.
Thanks
I appologize as I accidently posted this to the wrong forum, I meant to post it to the Vegas Pro 9 forum.
To be honest, I did not have a problem with AVCHD in Vegas Movie Studio 9 at all. I was able to import, edit, and render hidef video with no problem. There are major problems with it Vegas Pro 9, as well as issues with other file formats that Movie Studio handled fine.
In the final analysis I regret upgrading to the Pro version, but I wanted to be able to use more than 4 video tracks. For most of my projects what Movie Studio offers was just fine. So if anyone is thinking of upgrading, my advice to you is to download the trial first.
Every once in a while having only 4 video tracks becomes a problem. Perpahs in the next version of VMS, Sony will 1) gives us a few more video tracks or 2) let us have any combination of 8-tracks of video/audio we choose (for example: 6/2 video/audio or 5/3 video/audio rather than just 4/4). In most cases I can live with 2 or 3 audio tracks.
I wonder if any users have suggested option 2 to Sony in the past?
