Is it possible to group all the clips along a track in one easy step? There must be an easier way than having hold <ctrl> key and click on each clip along the track, then create a group.
Funny how the simplest things just don't get noticed. They should make software with hands that attach to the sides of monitors to slap ya in the head when necessary.
The standard windows shift selection also works in Vegas the way it does in Windows. I.E. select the first item, hold down shift and the second item you click on will create a selection between the first and the second items.
You could also try the "LAsso" thingy on the tool bar - oh yes it's called "Selection Edit Tool". I use this like I use the lassooing tool in my graphics packages - neat!
1) Select the 1st event on all the tracks you want to group (press the "Control" key while selecting the events)
2) Select "Select Events to End"
3) Press the "G" key to group
