Is it possible to create a "Play All" menu button?

Most DVD Movies do have a Play All option on the Main Menu right and I know that you wont have a problem creating this if the video file you inserted is a single file. But my question is HOW DO YOU MAKE DO THAT IN A PROJECT WITH MULTIPLE INSERTED VIDEO FILES?
Vegas 4.0 will automatically split the file (*.avi - DVD NTSC) by approx. 4GB thus dividing my 45 minute video into 3 parts. Do I have to Render it as a DVD Mpeg in Vegas? I hope there's another solution to this coz vegas compresses the file very slowly.

I don't think you can do this without combining the files together prior to inserting into DVDA. This is another problem that results from DVDA's lack of end actions.

I create a Play All button on every DVD. The only requirement is that you pass DVDA a SINGLE file.

It sounds like you are on Win98se or WinME which use FAT32. The limitation is FAT32 which cannot have a file larger than 4Gig. So, what's the solution? You have a couple of choices:

1) Render to MPEG2 in Vegas creating a final file that is less than 4Gig in size.

2) Upgrade to Win2K or WinXP and change the format of the drive to NTFS which does not have the 4Gig limit.

Unfortunately, jetdv's workarounds won't work for a Win98 system if you have a really large project, because you will still be limited to a 4 GB file, and of course a full DVD holds 4.3 GB (or 4.7 GB depending on whether you use 1000 or 1024 as the measuring tool for each kbyte).

#1 will. It said to create a final MPEG file that is SMALLER than 4GB. Of course that requires using a lower bitrate but would work fine.

You are certainly correct. I guess another way to state my objection is that by being limited to 4GB, you will have to use a lower bitrate and thus suffer some loss in quality, compared to what you would get if WizCraft would upgrade to NT/2000/XP, or if Sony would FINALLY (grumble, grumble) released some sort of patch, upgrade, fix, that would include end actions
