Any time you convert to another codec you'll lose quality.

What's "as high of a Kbps as you could"? Some converters make the assumption that the primary goal is the tiniest file possible and offer only a selection of low bitrates. For example, 512Kbps may make a good file size for web streaming, using it on a 720x480 30fps file is going to produce rather cruddy quality.

Thanks for your reply. I've tried the bitrates up to 1024K but the IQ was still not good.
I have two questions here--
1) If I drop the frame rate, will it look better?
2) Will it make sense to buy Adobe Premiere Elements for making flv files? I mean, to render AVI file first from my Vegas MS, and then use import to APE to do the job.

What app? Did you try SUPER? Also, how did you make out with SUPER from your other thread?

I tried SUPER and OJO. Since the final output will be used in my website, I don't want to use SUPER as it has large watermark.
My main concern is that both programs output seem to pixelate a lot and I'm trying to find out if it's worthwhile to get Premiere for the flv output. What do you think?
