Is their a kind person here, who would write me a script from the kindness of their heart :-)

I would like the following to happen:

move the cursor 60 sec to the left
select all
split
add marker
de-select all

I know i'm a bit cheeky asking for this, but i'm trying to get into scripting, but finding it hard going.

And you never know, one day i may be in a position to help you out :-)

Really, you don't need to move the cursor, select all, and deselect all. However, moving the cursor is no problem. Why move it 60 seconds left instead of it already being at the right place (just curious). Or do you simply need markers every 60 seconds (i.e. do the clips "really" need to be split?)

Maybe if a couple more details were given to help approach this correctly.

i'm going through a load of clips and splitting the scenes up.

So, find a change of scene, i select all, split, then move the cursor 1 second to the left, insert a maker, then drag the next clip to the maker which then merges the to clips for 1 second.

Not onlty will this save me time, but by having the script to look at i will learn that bit more :-)

Remember to remove the ending .txt

In the initial note, you said one minute and that is what this one does. In the last one you said one second. To modify this, find the line that has "00:01:00:00" and change it to "00:00:01:00".
