Is there a better way??

We are just getting used to CD Arch but find the zoom
facility not too hot compared with SF - plenty of horizontal
zoom but only vertical zoom by dragging the screen to make
bigger - maybe we are doing it wrong? The manual doesnt give
any clues how we can do this easier/better. You see we need
to EXACTLY locate the beginning of tracks (single file,
multiple tracks) so it is important to see right down to
-40/-50dB at least

Russell,

Any reason why you can't break the file up into tracks with Forge?
Then you can import individual tracks into the list and set pause
time with PQ.

Use SF to make regions that coresspond to your final PQ list. When
you add the file to CDA all the regions will show up underneath the
File name. Set your default pause time (if you want one) and start
double clicking the regions to add them to the playlist and PQ list.

I actually create my entire PQ list in SF with regions and just simply
add the regions as tracks in CDA. This makes single file multiple
track projects a piece of cake (ie. live concerts).

We will give this method of operation a go - thank you for your
thoughts Brian.

Andrew, thank you for your suggestion and we will try this method
also.
