Is there a difference in "edge" quality between TM and P/C?

I got a 1.4mb high quality PSD file. I've got it on the T/L. I'm wanting to blow-up/zoom-in to the graphic and then have video appear within the logo grpahic .. this isn't the issue I can do this . . BUT I tried Track Motion and then Pan/Crop. I "appear" to get a cleaner edge with P/C than with T/M. Is this true? Should this be the case?

TIA

Grazie

Yeah, there is a pretty big difference,, for zoomimg on a pic or panning ,,pan and crop is the way to go, dont know the details but vegas handles the 2 in very dif ways.
Hows that for a technical explaination.

Thanks Winrock! - When I come up with a question like this it is more to reassure myself that this is what I can expect, from others experiencing the same, sop I don;t keep knocking my head against a "brick wall"!

Pan Crop is far cleaner for a PSD file, at least that is what I'm experiencing.

Pan/Crop uses the full image you provide.

Track Motion uses the video frame
