I'm very new at this product; so any advice that is offered will be appreciated. I'm using DVDA to build my project and when I built my Scene Selection, I wanted to put a brief caption or sentences with each scene, however i can only put 20 or 30 characters in the text box. what is the limit?
The text area is one thing that needs improvement. Still...
You can expand the text box as a first step by dragging any of its handles. For some reason the developers decided by default it should be no wider than the thumbnail it goes with. You can easily change it.
Go for roughly sizing the box until you think you've got it big enough to contain the text you want at the font size you want. Then just start typing. You'll need to force line breaks by hitting enter or it just will keep expanding the width of the text box ending up with all your text on one long line. Not very pretty. <wink>
I just tried a longer run, 60 words over 300 characters, far longer than any caption should ever be and it worked fine. The problem is DVD-A may attempt to keep resizing the text with its AUTO feature. Let it till you're done typing then you can resize the text to a size you wish and justify as needed.
