Try this page: http://www.sonicfoundry.com/support/supportmail.asp

On the other hand, posting your problems in here might lead to another user quickly responding with a solution or a work around. It might even save headaches for another user who is having a similar problem but doesn't know it's a bug. If they see that someone else is having the same problem they can probably deal with it easier than if they think it's just themselves not knowing how to do it right.

Yes. Did the link above.

I'd thought about posting it here but it seemed straight-forward.

Here they are though:

1-play from timeline, tap "I" to set in point, wait a moment and then tap "O" for out point, then tap "R" and then "Return" to make an unnamed region on the fly.

Now tap "I" again. The IN point should be placed at the cursor location but (at least on my machine) it's placed "somewhere else".

This is all done on the fly as the timeline plays.

2-If you go to Prefs/Editing and select "Collapse Loop Region..." you can no longer use the I/O keys to set I/O points. This is a side effect of automatically collapsing loop regions. Not really a bug but an oversight.

Using I/O to mark out an area on the fly is a really common practice across many NLEs. There ought to be some way to allow this even if "Collapse..." is selected.
