Is there a solution to extract srt file?

Hello, i used AI speech-to-text and generated them into the video.

I now have edited them because they ended up in wrong location. (too early or too late) and the AI is terrible at analyzing swedish language.

How can I export it as a srt file now that I have edited it (in swedish)?

Why do I want to export it?: It´s because I want to use Chatgpt or any other AI to translate from swedish to english and still keep the timestamps. Then I will import the srt file back into Vegas Pro and everything will be in english instead of swedish.

If vegas pro cant export them as a srt. Is there another free software which can create subtitle with timestamps from a rendered video?

Thanks to anyone who wants to help me.

Br,
Emma

I don't think your workflow is great. Vegasaur has a export to srt feature. https://vegasaur.com/Vegasaur

There was recently a discussion of how to make a script to do this, too if you search for it.

Personally I'd do all this in SubtitleEdit using tools like OpenAI Whisper (there are also translation tools).
