Is there a titler that works reliably with VP14?

As we know, NewBlueFX is pretty useless, the 2-versions-old v3 that Magix shamefully bundled with VP14 is buggy and idiosyncratic, and v5 simply doesn't work with VP14. I also love how they tried to hide that it's an old version by removing the version number from the about dialog :) NewBlueFX seems unresponsive to customers, check out their own forum where folks complaining about VP14 issues get no replies.

Boris is the least intuitive thing on the face of the earth, and it doesn't work properly either, e.g. no matter what I do I cannot get it to show my video in its UI, it only shows a checkerboard.

This is a deal-breaker for me, is there any reliable titler available for VP14?

I actually have full CC but haven't been using Premier because of the learning curve, but it may be time to bite the bullet and move.

Have you tried their latest TP5 build 5.0.161114 ?

Working fine here.

I switched to Boris because NewBlue never fixed v4 to work and I was not upgrading again to get a working version. Title Studio and Red both work and I see the video. You have to applie the plug-in to the video clip and not a separate media generate event above it. Vegas only sends the current video track to the plug-in unless it supports the Custom composite mode, like Boris Red for transitions. To use Title Studio, I sometimes duplicate the 10s portion of the event in my title track to apply the plug-in, if I need to see the video in the background during title creation. The nice thing with Title Studio is that it is the same interface that Boris Red uses and the titles are animated the same way. I like that they support c4d objects now.

Titler Pro 4 and Titler Pro 5 do both work fine in Vegas Pro 14.
