Is there a way to dock a window by the timeline?

In V7, is there a way to dock a window (say, the video events window) BESIDE the timeline? I know about holding SHIFT and clicking preferences to dock the timeline on the top or bottom, but I don't need the timeline to be 1900 pixels wide and would like to dock a window beside it.

Thank you in advance!

Not docking, but floating yes. Just reduce the horizontal size of the Timeline and "float docked or Undocked windows to the left or right. Anyway, what is the "video events window"?

I meant "video effects" window sorry. But how can I get the timeline to "loosen up"? Everywhere I put the mouse around the timeline edges I get nothing except the standard pointer....

Take care.

Wait I think I understand what you mean. Just reduce the whole window overall and use floating windows around the timeline. I wish Vegas would let you snap windows locked beside the timeline....very annoying!
