I'd like for the first line to come up and stop in the center, then proceed upward with the next line following. It seems like I may need a timed sequence instead of scrolling credit, but that seems like it would then need keyframes and at each frame draw in the next line I want. But when I tried that the item that paused in the center (which then becomes the first line of the next keyframe) don't line up properly and you get a jumping effect.

Is there a way to pause scrolling credits or dones anyone have any other suggestions?
