Is there a way to unmute/mute all tracks at once?

I'm using a fair few tracks, so this would sure be useful. Seems like it should be a basic and easy function to provide and easily visible/accessible.

I've found 'mute all video' under the options menu, but this works independently from the track buttons. I have no idea what purpose this function could ever serve, and why this function would be provided and not the one which I'm after, if in fact it doesn't exist.

Ctrl-A to select everything. Then clicking any mute/solo button will affect all of them.

Shift-Ctrl-A to deselect everything afterward, if need be.

You can SOLO a track .. which will MUTE all others.

If you actually want *everything* muted you can add a blank track and then SOLO that track.

Then again, i'm not really sure what is accomplished by muting all tracks. Might as well close down Vegas and go for a nice walk instead. ;)

Don't want to over simplify, but sometimes if I'm listening to an edit over and over and don't want to hear the audio repeatedly, I'll just hit the mute button on my computer...... Cin

Each track has its own mute button. But you want to mute them all... at once... There are rendering options you can pick that don't include audio by design. Why do you want to mute all tracks at once?

If you want to mute all audio , mute the master bus.
