Is there aa way to autoset the dragged in media properties' Apha Channel to Straight?

I have a bunch of text animations and wondered if there was a way to do this to save time on a deadline.

Set it in the Media Pool and it will register it for this file type, and should recall it when you add more files of the same type to the timeline.
You need to click the floppy disk/save icon next to the video stream attributes for Vegas to remember the setting properly. There is no name for the icon, but when you hover it, it says something like "save to properties."
