Is there finally a way to copy/past menu object attribute in DVDA2 (Yet ?)

Hi,

Just want to know if there is a way to copy just the attributes (font/colour/...) of a menu's object (text, link,...) and apply/past those attributes to other same menu object(s). A great example is from Ulead DVDWorkshop 1.2 (yes, the older version).

If not then this is a BADLY NEEDED feature.

I have asked for the same thing. Sony provided a workaround to one of the issues, namely how you can quickly get all the buttons to the same size:

Thumbnail icon

It is only a small piece of what is needed. It would also help to be able to save settings back to the templates so you could define templates "by example."

Hi,

Make menu object(s) the same size is not what I was referred to. What I want is to copy the attribute(s) value of an object and apply it to another object(s) from the same menu page or apply them to object(s) at any other menu pages (my choice). Such that object(s) would have a consistency attribute accross menu pages.

For example the attributes are:

- Object size, font name, font size, colour, opacity level, hightlight .....

Basically any attributes that apply to an object (text, button, picture box, ...)

You know you could select all of your objects and forrmat them at the same time with the attributes you want thus giving them all the same attritubes at the same time.

Albeit you have to do this a page at a time - it still works like a charm.

Simple solution I've just found, just copy the object.
I'm doing a set of 10 or more DVDs and they all need to look the same. Simple, just open previous project and change what the buttons or whatever link to.
If you want another object the same as another one, copy it and once again change what it links to. If you could copy all the attributes as far as I can see you'd end up with the same thing anyway as now everything is an attribute of the button.
