Is this normal: 32 and 64bit behave like one app

I am having some plugin-issues and am dusting off my memory rather desperate to try to find out what is wrong with me and my computer, when all others are doing fine.
So I am wondering, does this happen to you:
My 32 bit and my 64 bit Vegas behave like one app, when it comes to opening the last project.
Let us say I edit Project A in 32 bit, and then close. After that I open Project B in 64 bit, edit and close. When I open my 32 bit Vegas - it loads project B, even if the last project it worked with was A.
I think I remember that it was not like that before. How is it for you?

Ingvar, this seems to be the normal behaviour in version 9.

I'm having a similar experience. I noticed that if I turned off the splash screen in one, it would be off in the other (not very annoying). What was annoying is that if I install magic bullet looks, it won't work. I still have to go back, uninstall the 64-bit version, install magic bullet looks in the 32 bit version (MBL is only 32-bit Vegas friendly) and then reinstall 64-bit.

But yes, I noticed too.

I use both Vegas Pro 9 32-bit and 64-bit and had no problems when I installed magic bullet looks.

My big problem is that my 32 bit Vegas does not load any of the FX.. sound plug-ins, the 64 bit does. I have tried everything, well, almost. Sony Support has suggested everything, as the last attempt to solve it, I uninstalled all my Sony product and chemically cleansed the registry fo all Sony keys and values and did the same with the file system, rebooted and installed Vegas 32 bit again and.. it does not load the plug-ins..

The other issue when both 32bit and 64bit are installed is that when I click the Start button, then Vegas 64bit, sometimes it starts 32bit and sometimes 64bit. Annoying as hell. I end up having to just click All Programs, Sony, Vegas Pro 9.0, Vegas Pro 9.0 64bit.
