IS V5 PAGE TURN VARIABLE IN SIZE?

I have a screen with two vertical bars on each side. In the middle I have a series of pages, one behind the other, on which I want to use the page turn transition. But I don't want to pageturn the entire screen. Just the space where the changing pages are. Is this possible. I have tried masking and all that and have not succeeded. Any ideas?
