I'm trying to work out if it is possible to create a video clip only playlist

I'm producing Movie slideshow BD's that is a slideshow movie of about 300 images with about 40 (5 second) video clips spaced throughout the movie. I want to have an option of just playing the video clips from the movie and wondered if this is possible. The movie is rendered to mpeg2 in V11 pro and there are chapter markers inserted at the start of every vidio clip.
The problem is when I create a scene playlist from these every scene starts with the clip and runs to the end of the movie.
Is there a method of controlling chapter duration etc so that I can create a playlist of just the video clips, or is there any other method of doing this, without just doing a complete re edit in vegas
