Is VMS15P backwards compatable with VMS13P project files and `.sfk`s?

71% off via upgrade is hard to ignore.

However, I have a concern. Is VMS15P 100% backwards compatible with VMS13P project files? Can I import any missing VFX and SFX into the new version? What about .sfk files?

Project files and sfk yes. VFX and SFX maybe, if VMS15P picks up your FX packages that came with VMS13P.

Download the trial to quickly find out. If you do then decide to purchase you won't need to download again. Just use your purchased activation code to 'unlock' the trial version.

How does it pick it up? Does it transfer automatically if I have both installed? Can I uninstall the old version and maintain FX compatibility? Cause disk space is kind of a premium on my workstation...

If you're lucky your existing NB, Boris etc will appear in MS15,without you having to do anything. With your MS13 Hitfilm you will need to copy the HitFilm.ofx.bundle folder to the corresponding folder in MS15. As for what might happen when you uninstall MS13 there are many variables so no guarantee. Mine still appeared but there's no guarantee yours will. HitFilm will disappear as it's in the installation, but if you move or copy the folder as mentioned above you should be okay.
