Hi
I'm trying to get a USB Pioneer DVR-107D burner to work with CDA 5.0a and randomly get the error
"command failed due to a IOCTL error. Interface or drive configuration issue"
(or words similar)
Any thoughts what this IOCTL might be?
Many thanks
W
I believe IOCTL refers to "IO Control", which relates to how data transfers are controlled between your system and the drive. I do not have a configuration like yours, but I might suggest 1) making sure there are no other devices on the USB connected to your burner being accessed while you are burning (e.g., sending output to a printer, etc.), and 2) checking your USB cabling (you may have a "flaky" cable or connection).
Thanks bgray.
I've changed cable and removed the only other USB devise - an iLok dongle. Still no joy. I'm coming to the realisation that this drive is not supported by CDA. :-(
