Searched all over Itunes site... not sure if they are hiding this or what..

I LOVE the idea of downloading TV episodes!
But - No Ipod (nor will I - I am laying down that much coin would just go with PSP)

I have a nice laptop (IBM PC), BIG screen.......
I am pretty sure, i will be able to play the Itune Videos on my laptop with quicktime installed - BUT...... I am downloading a dinky Ipod video rez file? Do i have a choice of a better rez/size video?

Sorry for wasting forum space.. Can't seem to find a difinitive answer anywhere
thanks

I'm pretty sure they're locked into the 320 x 240 size. I don't recall Steve Jobs saying any differently during his keynote speech introducing the thing.

There is a free video download for a new show called "Convictions". I downloaded it out of curiosity of the quality on my computer.

Try it and see.

The video starts in a small window in the lower left of the iTunes program. Clicking on the video opens it in a larger window which can be resized, right-clicking the on the video brings up options including full-screen playback.

By the way there are several free video podcasts on Digital Video Production. Go to podcasts and search for DV or Digital Video. Izzy Video is very basic, but well done.

Rumor is that the 320x240 won't be a limit soon with iTunes, maybe between next week and April 1.

I think their going to support HD soon. In my Humble Opinion.

They invited the press to Cupertino on Feb 28th.
