When ever i apply a transation or effect or whatever a window pops up with the paramaters for that given thing. I went to drag the window to a place where it was no longer obstructing my view and somehow its snapped into place in the little window in the bottom left where all the different explorer and trimmer and what not are. Now despite everything i try i cant seem to get these paramaters to be a window again as at the mo its imposible to work on anything since its so small in the bottom.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I just want for all the parameters to be a window again and not just simply fill that left hand side box instead.

Big thanx if you can help.

At the top left of Vegas you'll see the standard Windows taskbars. FILE, EDIT, VIEW, etc.
Clic on VIEW and remove the checkmark from the one you don't want.

I had the same thing happen to me, but what I did was

click and hold somewhere in that area of the NOW minimized window, and try dragging out toward the middle of the screen. When I did it, the outline of the WINDOWED version was showing and all I did was release the mouse button and BAM, it was now a window again.

To undock any window from the bottom panel, pick it up by the "raised" beige line that extends from the top to the bottom of the left hand side of the window. It's not easy to find first time, but once done .....

What you can do too is undock some windows to line up with the preview window. So in effect you can split the tabs between the normal docking area to the left and the preview area at the right. Of course the preview window too is undockable and can be moved around. Also, if you haven't discovered it yet once you undock you can like a deck of cards shuffle them into a order that better suits your needs.

You can easily reorder the docked windows while they are docked. Hold down the mouse button on the tab (contains the window name) and drag it to the left or right over the other docked window tabs, then release it where you want it. As you drag the tab, you'll see the tab names update.
