iZotope authorizing crashing VP13

After installing and trying to use iZotope either authorizing or in demo mode Vegas Pro 13 automatically crashes. Is this a known problem with an easy fix? Any help in getting this extra to work would be greatly appreciated.

i figured it out. i had to authorize it in sound forge before I could use it in Vegas.
