Izotope Trash

New automatable directX plug-in, for distortion modelling.

I've used the beta with input monitoring in Vegas 4, and it works pretty nicely.

Oh yes Trash works well in Acid 4.0b,Sound Forge 6.0e and Vegas 4.0.
In Acid 4 pull up some guitars in Kontakt and use the Amp modeling in trash plug-in.
Good also for adding grit to vocals in Vegas 4

The thing that impressed us was that the only effect on the entire song was Trash, from the guitar distortion to the Echoplex tape delay sound to the radio static effect in the beginning. It was very cool to hear someone using so many different parts of Trash in one song.

Anyhow, we don't get on these boards as much as we'd like to but don't hesitate to send us an email at support@izotope.com if you want to, well, talk Trash :-)

While you're here ...... Is the real version of Izotope 2 as cpu-intensive as the trial version ? ANd/or is there any amount of tuning you feel likely to be able to do to decrease the cpu load ?
