James Bond Style Start

Hi

I'm doing a kind of spoof holiday video project based on a James Bond theme. I have created my own titles to mimic those of the genre but wish to create that effect after the gunshot where the 'blood' trickles down the screen covering everything in a reddish tint. Does anyone have any ideas how I could create this effect as I have had several ideas none of which have worked at all?

Thanks in advance

Hey Maverick,

This was a gas...

A red photoshop image, twice as tall as the frame (655x1100).. bottom half looking drippy, with an alpha-channel.

Just slide on the still from the top with reduced transparency, add the wave FX to add a little motion to the drips.

HA.

Hey, It may be too cheezy for ya, but it was fun...

Someone has made a plug-in for AlamDV for this. I think it is under Movies & TV plug-ins.

It's an inexpensive , quite useful little program (you can do lightsabers & the like as well).

There is a hallmarked demo you could try & then purchase if you think it's useful. I think it's about $70 for the program & then any plug-ins you download are free.

It won't accept Vegas .avi files directly , you'd have to render the section you want to work on in AlamDV as uncompressed .avi & when completed bring it back into Vegas.

it's up and available at the site. you'll need to log in if you are a new user.
www.sundancemediagroup.com/home1.htm has a link to get you there.

Thanks for the VV4 one. I reckon I can use that idea by transferrig my project to the Beta version as I don't think the limitations on that will affect me at present.
Cheers

One small point about the Sundance stuff. I have downloaded many of the files but when loaded into VV3 (or V4) I get a message informing me that a file is missing - any clues as to why?
