Hiyah!
Okay... developed a new problem - I think they are called "artefacts", if they are then they are most unwelcomed guests! Arty or not!
I've got 3 tiny areas of jiggling pixels - if that's what they are, after I render prior to PTT, and then they are visible on the TV monitor as I am recoding to VHS tape. Sometimes they are one or two pixels or even 4 pixels. These areas stay in the same place. Their positions/placing are roughly at "2 o'clock", "4 o'clock" and at "9 o'clock", this last set are very near to the centre of the screen. I've tried this on another TV and VCR and I get the same result. None of this appears in VF's Preview screen or Windows Media player.
I don't know if this is relevant, but they seem to appear when "music" comes into play. They then stay with the piece, sometimes going away and sometimes staying all through it. I've done a number of re-renders, checked for the effect on my original AV-tape, which looks excellent. I've also recaptured and repeated the excercise several times.
If this is of any relevance, indication or interest, the audio is 16bit uncompressed stereo.
Otherwise the system is holding together and I can do most other things. I'm in the UK so any advice needs to be PAL-friendly. I'm sure your NTSC advice will hold for the UK.
Regards
Grazie
