Jitter At Top of Video

tserface wrote on 12/13/2001, 2:19 AM
When I create video using the DV CODEC and still photos I keep getting jitters at the top of the screen. I've tried lots of different settings and I seem to get the same results. Does anyone have a set of good parameters to use for doing photos stills to video. I'm only doing simply panning and crossfades with music. It used to work OK in VV 2.0.

Thanks,

Tom

Not sure what the "jitters" look like, but for still sequences you might try turning on the "apply interlace filter" switch for the still events.

You might also try the "Best" setting when rendering. Stills-with-motion sequences are a good place to use the "Best" render setting- in most cases you will see a difference.

Thanks for the reply. I did use the Best and interlace settings. I'm going to continue to try a few other things. Ironically, this never happened in VV2 so I'm going to do some tests there since I have it loaded still. I may end up going back if I can't get this to work since I do mostly videos of still pictures.

Thanks,

Tom
