jittery rendering using analog caputure

I have a Studio DC10 plus card. When I capture, the video looks perfect, but when I finish editing and
render the final avi, the is an interlacing combing effect in it. I know why the interlacing problem
happens, but it usually happens from capture, not after rendering, and since the raw captures look fine,
I am confuse as to why it happens.

this sounmds like your render settings are incorrect. If
your are using the Pinnacle codec you'll need to get with
them re proper render settings. In the short term,
rendering as progressive may help-
