I am not a scripter but I was wondering what else could be done at startup. I was going to look through the various script calls available and see if I could think of anything.

it's a script that you can load when Vegas starts and it adds various video and audio tracks with the names of your choice.

The startup script sets up your tracks for people who don’t like starting Vegas with a blank screen. You know how other NLE’s start with empty tracks, so I made a script that builds a track layout with 3 video tracks and 3 audio tracks. I have it on the Sundance Media Group web site. It’s called TrackSetUp under Johnny (Roy) Rofrano as the author.

The description explains how to call it during the startup of Vegas.
