I just did a test using . . .er . .. Windows Movie Maker? Kept everytihg native WMV. See what you think - that is free and comes with Windows too! - Let it go render on one machine while you get going on your other projects too.

Silly idea?

Ditto to joining wmv's or especially projects before they're rendered. I believe Premiere joins projects for rendering, and wondered if Vegas does the same? It sure would be nice when project gets big, or over 10 minutes. I've used grouping to move things around, but it's cumbersome.

I read the Movie Maker suggestion, but thought this is still a double render so lost quality. ??? Also wondered if it wouldn't be the same as importing two wmv's in V5.
