Well thats embarassing... I have been on vaca for the last 3 weeks, got an email from someone asking me for an invite.

Odd thing, I tried to sign up 4 times with my gmail account and got 404 errors. Does Joost block gmail accounts?

Then I sign up with another email account and I get a message saying I am on a waiting list?

I was supposed to be a beta tester, but I never could get it to run. It looks really interesting. I guess I'll have to try again.

It's another great thing from the people who brought you Skype. Basically it's fullscreen cable style content delivery over the Internet. Really cool stuff.

So I finally got my request approved last week. I have watched a few hours and it is great. For those not concerned about the peer to peer issues (like me), I highly recommend it.
