JPEG'S LOOK BAD

My imported picture files are all of a sudden looking bad, fuzzy, distorted when I preview them and view them on the burnt DVD. I can't figure out what I'm doing to cause my full jpeg files to look so bad. I've made previous picture slideshows before without this happeniing before. Can anyone help.

Make sure you haven't imported thumbnails. Check that first.

Also, are you making sure your rendering is set to Best quality? I forgot to change it once and left it at Good and I noticed a huge difference (and I wondered why it rendered so quickly, too).

I only use jpgs that haven't been modified and are their original size from the camera, usually 2048x and almost 3MB in size, and they look surprisingly great.
