I am unable to show any .js JScripts in the "Scripting" drop down menu.
Here's the EDL js Script and the controls for revealing it:-

And then the .js Export EDL Script shows up here:

Eh? I'm looking at the JS within Vegas. Are you attempting the same through MS Explorer? 'Cos when I do that, I get the same as you.

You said "I am unable to show any .js JScripts in the "Scripting" drop down menu." - To me, that's NOT the Vegas Tools>Run Script Menu. You're in the MS Menu system.

Grazie

Yes that was via MS Ex. How do you go via Vegas.. The only way I see one can do this is by "Run Script " in the scripting menu, but it only runs the script not add it to the scripting menu in Vegas. What am I missing here?

When you say "Scripting Menu in Vegas" are you talking about the Vegas Toolbar? For example, like these scripts and extensions that appear in the Toolbar?

if so, then take a look a this web page, Scroll down a bit and it gives an example of how to add the Timeline Tools Extension Icon to the Vegas Toolbar; but the procedure works the same for any other Script or Extension.

Thanks Gary

I do have Timeline Tools and the interesting thing is that one of the very usefull scripting tools is the "Lock" Event and "Unlock" Event. I had those two icons on my toolbar for a quick one click. These have disappeared from the tool bar as they are (part of the) .js JScript which are now not in the Vegas Tools>Scripting.
Come to think about it they may never have been on my Vegas 13 version but were on my Vegas 12. I remember reading somewhere that vegas 13 does not support JScript due to .Net.4.0, but it seems others are not having my issue...strange.
