Jumpy Video after Rendering Velocity Enveloped Clip

edit_suite wrote on 6/8/2003, 4:12 PM
I used the velocity envelope to reverse the motion of a short clip. The clip was recorded using a digital betacam. It looks fine in .veg format but is very jumpy after rendering to .avi format--the only format I am able to use. My video rendering quality is set at "Good". What should I do? Should I give more info?

Check smart resample if there's not.

This could be a field order problem. What did you use to capture the digibeta...and what does Vegas say the field order is (see media properties)?

The field order is LOWER FIELD FIRST. From a SONY Betacam SP deck and using a Datavideo Y.U.V. to DV Converter (DAC-2), I dumped this video to our PC harddrive. Need more info?

I resampled the clip. That did the trick; video isn't "jumpy" n e more. Thanks for your help.
