Just getting started....

Hello everyone. I am very new to Vegas Movie Studio. Is there a forum for newbies? I have so many questions to ask and I am sure you more knowledgable people have better things to do. Please direct me if there is such a thing.

Hello Kat, welcome to the forum. Unfortunately there aren't any sub-forums under here. Two things to suggest. 1) Go through the Show Me How tutorials in VMS (Help>Show Me How), they're very good at giving you an overview of VMS. DVD Architect Studio has them as well. 2) Use this forum's Search tool (linked above). Change from All to Vegas Movie Studio to only see threads in this forum. But it might be good to leave it at all as there are many good threads in the Vegas Video forum that you may find helpful.

After doing those two things and you still are unsure about things, by all means post a thread.

KatM, welcome to the forums, they're all great here.

There's also another forum, http://www.jetdv.comJetDV Vegas Forum[/link] that is all about Sony Vegas as well.

I personally use both forums a lot.

I just started posting here in April or May and have found the people to be *extremely* kind and helpful, even when I've posted (what I consider to be) dumb questions.

In fact they've educated me so much, I've now found that I'm able to answer folks' questions - yaaay, I'm adding value!!!

This is a great place to get help. Using "search" is valuable. I've learned to do that first before posting a question. Enjoy Vegas...I'm anxiously waiting for the Vista version to come out.
